There is a certain grace in the early morning hours. I'm usually outside by 5:30 during the hot months here in the desert. There is a sense of something new and exciting, and almost like I get God all to myself...at least that's how I feel. I have been watching this rose bush for many days. I didn't know what was coming and I thought that the bud was burnt and it would surely die (this is my first year with this bush, I didn't know what the blooms looked like.). I came out this morning in to see this beauty. I think I feel like this sometimes...what is my story going to look like? Am I watering it enough? With the blossom whither before it bloom with something worthy? Rest assured, God shows up to finish those conversations in the garden. Yep...a certain grace in the morning.
"The wilderness and the dry land shall be glad; the desert shall rejoice and blossom like the crocus; it shall blossom abundantly and rejoice with joy and singing. The glory of Lebanon shall be given to it, the majesty of Carmel and Sharon. They shall see the glory of the Lord , the majesty of our God. Strengthen the weak hands, and make firm the feeble knees. Say to those who have an anxious heart, “Be strong; fear not! Behold, your God will come with vengeance, with the recompense of God. He will come and save you.”"
